Many opportunities exist to help educate others about adoption! We are seeking volunteers to:

• Serve as board members. Please e-mail us at info@iowansforadoption.org to obtain a board member application. 

​​

• Donate money or in-kind services to help pay for new brochures, adoption education curriculum, event sponsorships, advertising or marketing communications.

​

• Distribute adoption brochures to area hospitals and physicians’ offices.

​

• Assist with fundraisers.

​

• Advocate for adoption by collaborating with policymakers.

​

• Participate in networking/support groups for adoptive family members and birth family members.

​

• Locate and write grants for funding.

​

• Speak at public events.

​

• Talk to prospective adoptive and birth family members.

​

• Assist in record-keeping and accounting.​
